Radio Jagran is the first community radio of Dalit community run by Jagran Media Center. It has been established through the collective efforts of experienced journalists, social workers and intellectuals who have been involved in the media for a long time. It is located in Butwal sub-metropolitan ward no 11 of Rupandehi.
In the spirit of the original slogan "Voice of the voiceless", the voice of all the backward classes, castes and language speakers raised by the state can be a powerful means of inspiring awareness by spreading the message of awareness to reach the neglected community for building a new Nepal for social justice and equality. Radio has been established with the main objective of the radio is to become a conduit for establishing new pioneering scientific thinking and concepts by displacing the status quasit thinking and culture, which is plagued by superstitious stereotypes while discouraging the growing distortions and anomalies in the country.
